This story had me on edge throughout, because - once a thief...Would this marriage work out?I adore Tar-denovak! He’s geared to be the perfectly attentive mate, adoring his odd little human. It doesn’t take Diamond long to appreciate his qualities as a mate. Slowly, she is drawn into romance. Regardless of her criminal past, Diamond has a caring heart. She always thinks of others first, potentially leaving herself in a dangerous position.Tar’s cousin, Dal, is a delightful addition to the story. I feel for him in the family expectations to which he’s tied. I especially want to see him get his HEA! I love Tar’s mother, too! She’s a force to be reckoned with! I wouldn’t want to get on her wrong side! She’s willing to go against tradition, for her family to achieve the happiness they deserve.Well written, wild adventure, sweet romance!
